An Overwhelming Overload

Taking these first few steps in this journey have proved to be staggering, something that was not unexpected, however I was hoping to avoid. Analytics is a very computer based job, with much data, statistical analysis, and prediction being developed by technology. As expected, analytics is a broad area of interest that covers dozens of jobs, so this week I hope to specify my interest. This realization carries a heavy weight, therefore it must be attended to quickly.

Despite these steps backward, I have found new insights about this field that have garnered new questions. What programs are most used in the context of entrepreneurial growth? Which are used most in the healthcare industries? Error is inevitable, even with the growth of artificial intelligence and deep learning. How does a company address an error in data? What steps are taken to fix an error, or to avoid it completely? These questions plague my mind, providing some much needed direction on sources to investigate or potential final products.

Overall, this week's progress can be described as a "one step forward, two steps back" scenario, however the challenges that I am faced with can be solved with more extensive research and contemplation. This marks the first roadblock and therefore the first opportunity for growth in this journey.
