A "Warm" Welcome Back

As of last week, winter break is officially over. I was holding out for a snow day today, however my wish did not manifest itself.
The second semester of ISM holds many goals and projects that will require much work. Firstly, we will be having speeches that are at least 20 minutes in length. In this speech, we'll detail our journey so far, touching on interviews, our original work, and mentorship. This will also help us work up to our final speeches, which will be about 30 minutes long.
Next, we need to complete our display boards, which essentially consolidate all of the information from our speech onto one poster board. In early February, we will have a gallery walk during all lunches, where any student can walk around and ask about our work. This deadline feels especially close, especially because I have yet to find a mentor.
Final products are a heavy deadline for everyone. After the stress associated with the original work, I am anxious yet excited to come up with ideas for what I might create. Currently, I have very few ideas regarding what I might make.
This all will lead up to our final presentation night, where we present individually about our journey and showcase our final product. There's about 3 months until then. I have a feeling this will come up fast.
Currently, my goal is to find a mentor. I have reached out to about two dozen people in the last week on LinkedIn or through email, with no responses at all. It's slightly discouraging, but I will persevere and hopefully find somebody to interview soon. With so many deadlines, I can feel my stress rising, but as long as I stay on top of my work, I can hopefully succeed this semester.
